Despite a majority of Americans believing in single payer healthcare, many of our elected officials still refuse to support it publicly or make strides towards implementation. ISPC is working on a grassroots organizing campaign to bring Illinoisans from around the state together in support of health justice. We’ll be putting the pressure on our cities, townships, and counties to declare their support for single payer and build momentum around our movement.
Campaign Goals:
Pass city council resolution in support of single payer healthcare in Chicago.
Activate ISPC members and supporters around the state to draft and introduce resolutions in their own municipalities.
Grow awareness of single payer healthcare support across the state.
Here’s how you can move this campaign forward!
