Join People Over Profit C-U and the Illinois Single Payer Coalition on ZOOM for an information and discussion meeting about COVID, single payer healthcare, and what steps we can take towards a truly comprehensive healthcare system in this country! The event will consist of a brief presentation followed by a discussion about the handling of COVID here at UIUC and campuses across the nation. How do we organize in a time where congregation is so unsafe? What is "reasonable" to ask of our governments, schools, and caregivers in terms of healthcare? Why single-payer healthcare, and what steps can we take as individuals to achieve people-first policy?
